About us
Pinoy Retro Geek started as a small notebook of case drops, MagSafe quirks, and bag setups that survived real commute days — then grew into a magazine for people who care how gear feels after the unboxing video ends.
We write about phone cases, MagSafe accessories, reviews, buying guides, travel bags, and everyday carry. The through-line is simple: will this still make sense after a month of pockets, desks, and airport trays?
What we care about
- Fit and finish on actual phones, not just press renders
- MagSafe alignment, charge heat, and wallet stack thickness
- Cases and pouches that survive keys, lint, and weekend trips
- Clear trade-offs — protection vs bulk, price vs longevity
We are independent editorial. Brands do not buy our verdicts. When something looks great in a studio shot but slips in a sweaty hand or blocks a camera bump, we say so.
If you are building a phone kit or EDC lineup that works on ordinary weekdays — not only on unboxing day — you are who we write for.
