The Iron Heart is the best office companion, with a depth and fabric weight that hides its contents completely. The Blåkläder is the only choice for physical work, its velcro and internal divider built to survive movement and keep paper clean. The Western Rise is the most innovative, its internal sleeve hiding a passport entirely, but the design demands a tolerance for tight access and a synthetic hand feel.

What separates all four from the bulk of shirts on the market is a simple refusal to treat the chest pocket as an afterthought. The measurements are deliberate. The gussets, dividers, and sleeves are engineered responses to the actual behavior of folded paper and plastic. A shirt with one of these pockets becomes a different kind of garment. It stops being just a layer and starts being a small carrying system. For anyone who has ever fumbled for a boarding pass at a gate or watched a passport slide out of a too-shallow pocket onto a wet sidewalk, that distinction is worth the search.
